Rothesay By-Election

Dominic Cardy, leader of the provincial NDP, has been nominated and acclaimed as the candidate for the by-election in Rothesay. This will be his first attempt to be elected to the New Brunswick Legislature. The NBNDP have been without a seat since 2005, when Elizabeth Weir stepped down as MLA to accept a position as President and CEO of Efficiency New Brunswick.

I believe in Dominic and think he will make a great representative for Rothesay. In support of Dominic and the NBNDP team, I drove to Rothesay with my friend Jason for the nomination meeting on Monday, June 4. I am hopeful that through the next three weeks and through the hard work of a campaign that Dominic will be successful.

Success will only come through the hard work of the team in Rothesay, combined with the donations of fellow New Brunswickers. You can donate at http://www.nbndp.ca/donate.
